Patient Ambassadors

Shriners Children's
Patient Ambassadors

At the heart of the Shriners Children's East-West Bowl is the connection between the players and our patients who inspire them. Each year, patient ambassadors from Shriners Children's locations across the country join us throughout the week to share their stories of resilience, courage, and hope. Our ambassadors represent the primary reason the game is played. Whether meeting players on the field, joining them at events or simply sharing a conversation, their presence brings the Shriners Children's mission to life in a way that no statistic ever could.

Throughout East-West Bowl Week, ambassadors interact one-on-one with players, coaches and staff, and are featured in media interviews that give them a powerful platform to share their journeys with audiences far beyond the game.  For many players, these connections become the most meaningful part of the entire week, offering a powerful reminder of the impact their participation makes for children and families across the Shriners Children's system.
